A spousal impoverishment record is automatically created for a Medical Assistance product delivery with a Long Term Care component when the application is for an institutionalized individual with a community spouse. And additionally, the combined resources of the institutionalized individual and community spouse is equal to or less than the Maximum Spousal Share plus a $2000 asset limit. |
