This business interface provides operations related to the administration and configuration of the benefit delivery system details for the children's health insurance program (CHIP).

For CHIP, the date of coverage is the date of application; a state may also allow a number of day's grace period when coverage is allowed to start prior to the application receipt date but not earlier than the beginning of an open enrollment period.
