Table Description

Unearned Income: A payment received by a participant from sources other than employment or benefit programs.

Unearned income includes alimony payments, and LTC Insurance Benefits.

Example

Linda Smith is divorced and is receiving alimony payments from her ex husband. A case worker creates an Unearned Income record for Linda Smith with the details of the alimony payment she is receiving.
