The eligibility date range processing entity is used to store the date ranges for each eligibility determination request. Each entry represents a date range for one iteration of the eligibility determination process.

Example

An eligibility determination request is initiated to check eligibility for all medical assistance programs on an integrated case for the current system date. In this instance a single record is inserted with a from and to date equal to the current system date.

A retroactive eligibility determination request is initiated to check eligibility for all medical assistance programs on an integrated case for 3 retroactive periods based on an initial request of 1-April-2005. In this instance 3 records are inserted for each of the 3 retroactive periods with from and to date ranges of 1-Jan-2005 to 31-Jan-2005, 1-Feb-2005 to 28-Feb-2005 and 1-Mar-2005 to 31-Mar-2005 respectively. The eligibility determination processing will then iterate through each of the date ranges to determine household eligibility for each of the requested date ranges.
